River Club at Myrtle Beach

Course description

River Club a semi private golf club, has proven to be one of the most challenging courses in the Myrtle Beach area. This Tom Jackson signature course was one of the first "plantation" style courses and has become a “premium” favorites among returning golfers. The Tract, true to its name, features wide-open fairways and large greens with some elevations and undulations and over 100 sand traps and bunkers.

The front nine is tree lined, while the back nine is lined with houses. On every hole has either a water hazard or one of the numerous bunkers come into play. Their signature hole, the 518-yard, par 5, 18 th was rated by the local "Sun News" as one of the best finishing holes in the area. Long hitters have some room off the tee, but approach shots need to be true. The dramatic par-5, 18th is unquestionably one of the finest finishing holes on the Grand Strand, offering risk and reward to those who can carry the water twice for a possible chance at eagle.
